Children’s House

In our Children’s House program, designed for ages 3-6, children engage in a community setting alongside peers and adults, fostering a genuine understanding of cooperative living, of harmonious co-existence. Our approach nurtures a sense of decision-making, by empowering children with the freedom to select their activities, reinforcing autonomy and willpower.

Guided by their innate tendencies, children flourish in an environment meticulously prepared to reveal and enhance their inherent abilities and potential. This carefully tailored setting supports the natural unfolding of each child’s unique qualities, paving the way for a lifetime of growth.

The Environment

The Children’s House environment is meticulously organized, featuring materials that are both appealing and purposeful, catering to the developmental stages of children aged 3 to 6. Our practical life exercises draw children into authentic tasks that cultivate independence, self-care, and coordinated movement.

Sensorial experiences are heightened through specialized materials, engaging the child’s senses in a rich learning tapestry. Language acquisition is interwoven with sensory-rich activities and physical engagement. Mathematics materials transition the child from tangible, visual experiences to abstract concepts, laying a foundation for robust comprehension.

Music, art , geography and science are also offered to the child which act as seeds which hold the potential to sprout as the child progresses in their journey of life.

The Guides (Adults)

Our educators are well-versed in the stages of child development, employing keen observation to guide each child individually. Tailored to meet unique needs, their guidance respects the child’s natural pace of learning, influenced by innate tendencies and engagement. The facilitation of learning is carefully orchestrated through timely demonstrations of appropriate materials, ensuring an organic and purposeful experience.
